Zaama Townhall is a civic engagement project by the Munathara Initiative that brings citizens and decision-makers together for open, fact-based dialogue on urgent public issues affecting Arab youth. Aired across three episodes between 2021 and 2022, it moved beyond the binary “for or against” debate model to foster nuanced, solution-driven conversations. Each episode tackled a critical topic—punitive drug laws, irregular migration, and domestic violence—through inclusive exchanges between youth, experts, policymakers, and civil society actors. By elevating underrepresented voices and turning dialogue into democratic practice, Zaama Townhall reimagines public debate as a collaborative force for accountability and reform.
