In recent years, Tunisia has witnessed a significant increase in the number of its migrants through various means. 14.7% of the total population, equivalent to 1,731,619 citizens, are living abroad according to the latest statistics from the Tunisians Abroad Agency in 2021.
On the other hand, 76.9% of Tunisians have no intention to migrate, according to figures from the National Institute of Statistics. The positions on the choice of emigration vary between those who advocate for it and those who reject it, for a variety of reasons.
That is why the debate initiative raises the question in the third episode of the program "Zaama": "#Zaama migration is the solution for a better future?"
